For my technologically incompetent family members and relatives (aka mom--hi mom, love you!) that have been trying to keep up with my blog but don't understand how to navigate, here are a couple of things that will hopefully help you make your way around my blog. This is the home page where I have two posts about Galicia. At the very top you will see there are 6 tabs: Galicia- Europtrips- Reflections- Introduction- About- Contact. Underneath the Galicia tab are subtabs that you can hover over--Teaching, Culture, and Adventures. Under the teaching subtab, I retell my very funny, awkward, and embarrassing experiences in the classroom as a first-time English teacher, dealing with teenagers, and what it's like giving clases particulares to families. Under the culture subtab, I share with you all new words I learn (many colloquial terms), food I have tried and hope to try, and other things I have noticed here. Under the adventures subtab are all the fun, crazy, and relaxing moments I've had while here--sunbathing on la playa samil, hiking Monte Galineiro, etc. The eurotrip tab includes all the places I've visited outside of Spain, which at the moment is just one--Lisboa. The reflections tab is currently under construction, but it's meant for me to reflect upon my time here and how my adjustment from the USA to Spain has been. The introduction and about tab are for people who don't know me that well and want to know my story!
So hopefully this helped you all out a bit. If you're looking for a good laugh or thinking about traveling or teaching abroad, make your way through my blog, and I promise you will be sure to find something useful/funny/good!
Yours truly,
TLT
